I am a 4th generation Sweetgrass basket weaver. As a teenager I would make the starters for my mother. I enjoyed making them but my passion didn’t begin until my retirement. I tried my hand at small baskets then earrings. Now my greatest joy is making different styles of earrings and other jewelry. Stitching is like your handwriting, you can look at a sweet grass piece and tell if it was made by one person or several different basket weavers!!! While I work from home, I'm available to set up for vendors and I ship them all over the USA. Allow me to make a unique piece of the oldest African American history for you!
